Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy therapy that originated in Japan. It’s based on the idea that a universal life force energy flows through all living things. In a Reiki session, the practitioner places their hands lightly on or just above the body, aiming to balance this energy.
People often seek Reiki to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support emotional well‑being. Many describe feeling calmer, lighter, or deeply relaxed after a session. While some use it alongside conventional medical treatment, it’s considered a complementary therapy and not a replacement for medical care.
